From an old farm house dating to the end of the 18th century, and in four more adjacent houses, was born the Hotel Rural Quinta de Novais, in the Parish of Santa Eulália, Council of Arouca.

The recovery and restoration of the group respects the characteristics of the buildings that existed before, giving them comfort and a touch of modernity. The use of materials like iron and glass, as well as the choice of some dashing colours, allowded to create a few surprising spaces.

The surrounding space, almost 25.000m², has a great area of chestnut, oak and cork trees, which, along with the green space, the flowering garden and the Freita Ridge Mountains in the horizon, turns it into a delightful spot.
